Poker Run – Saturday 19th February The aim of the game is to go out on your boat and gather five sealed envelopes, each containing a Playing Card from nominated locations on the water or elsewhere, return to the Club Bar and present the sealed envelopes to a Game Marshall, and have your hand recorded. The best hand according to Basic Poker Rules takes first prize. Second best hand will take second prize and third best third prize. There may also be a few door prizes to award at the judges discretion. The main aim of the game is to have fun, use your boats and create camaraderie within the Club. Skippers are encouraged to host nonboat owners on their boats and non-boat owners are encouraged to seek a place on a boat.
